Munitown runs the problem-reporting website for Maple Falls. This notice explains what we collect when you report a problem, who can see it, and how long it is kept.

What we collect

• The kind of problem, where it is, and what you write about it.
• A photo, if you add one.
• Your name, email and phone number, if you give them. They are optional.
• Your device's location, only if you press "Use my current location".
• Your internet (IP) address, which we use to stop repeated or automated reports. We do not store it with your report.

Who can see it

• Administrators for Maple Falls can see everything in your report.
• When a report arrives, we email the department that handles it, if the city has given that department an email address. That email includes the problem, the location and what you wrote, but not your name, email or phone number.
• Anyone with your tracking code can see the report's status, its dates, the kind of problem, and messages the city chooses to share. They cannot see your name, contact details, description, location or photo.

How it is used

Maple Falls uses your report to find and fix the problem, and may use your contact details to ask about it or tell you about progress. We do not sell your information, show ads, or use tracking or analytics tools.

Services we use

Cloudflare hosts this website, stores reports and photos, sends our emails, and runs the check that confirms you are a person. Cloudflare handles that information under its own privacy policy.

If you press "Use my current location", we look up the nearest street address with Geoapify, which uses OpenStreetMap data. We send it only that position, rounded to about 10 meters, and nothing about you.

Cookies

Reporting a problem does not use cookies of ours. City administrators get one cookie that keeps them signed in.

How long it is kept

Reports are kept as long as Maple Falls needs them for its records. A city can choose to remove reporters' names, contact details and photos a set time after a report is closed. Public records laws may require a city to keep some reports.

Your choices

You can leave your name, email and phone number blank. To ask for your details to be removed from a report, contact Maple Falls at 555-0142, and include your tracking code.
